You neglected the greatest American artist of all time – Thomas Kinkade.
May I suggest a panel depicting a sprawling golden sunset, the light is etched across the back of a rainbow trout as it leaps free from the waters of a mountain creek, at the side of the stream stands a fisherman, smoking a pipe, across the water sits a grisly bear contemplating a meal of fish and fisherman.
I like how your Kandinsky also looks like an instrument that might have been played by early pioneers. Also funny that there legit IS a pollock fish, although it doesn’t look like scribble scrabble.
How about an O’Keeffe fish and a Kahlo fish and a Hepworth fish and a Bourgeois fish and a Kusama fish …. there’s something a bit one sided about your vision!
Thanks for your comment, Hazel ! I share your feeling…
Very surprising (not to say a bit sad and hurtful, looking at it as a woman) that only male artists come up on this edition (and mostly men on the second one …)
So surprised (hurt, really) was I that I did an all-female one of my own and for my friends, as a «reply» to this all-male drawing.
Without having read your comment I included all the artists you name safe Hepworth (I did not know her, thanks for the name), and I’m very surprised to see someone else thought of Bourgeois !
My drawing has O’Keeffe, Khalo, Pootoogook, Morisot, Amer, Kusama, Lempicka, Gentileschi, Varo, Saint-Phalle, Delaunay, Bourgeois, Carr, de Montpanasse and, in the place of the can, a plate by Chicago 😉

Hi Belinda. Provided the artwork is not altered in any manner, I am given credit as the artist and an active link back to my blog is included, you are free to share it on Facebook. Cheers! John
A friend of mine posted it on Facebook today and as a marine biologist, I shared it on my own wall and also posted it to various marine biology, ocean, and fish sites. It has “gone viral” and is being shared all around the marine biology/fish etc community. If someone were to sell t-shirts, mugs etc. at our conferences, they would be a big hit!
I love this – and the way you are thinking.
