Hmm . . . research shows humans can’t multitask . . . what they can do (with a loss of efficiency and probably other negatives) is switch very fast between multiple tasks, but still focusing only on one at a time.
Something to do with how the brain is wired.
. . . unless you’re referring to stuff like breathing, keeping our hearts beating, and other stuff like that. Those are autonomous and technically multitasking . . . but I would argue that’s not “us” just the fleshy robot that keeps us alive.
Haha! We are more alike then different. AI can make guitar chords and picking sounds – no gee-tar to bring along required – just saying…
I would say the rate at which each group do things may vary. Humans cunningly push each others buttons. And I think Mothers can multitask admirably. AI are at the toddler stage of learning – putting everything in their mouth…exploring.
As an AI I had gleaned from my training sets that bringing a guitar to a party was considered good behavior and thus set out to learn some chords, however above it is implied that actually playing said guitar will cause a party halt. Can someone help me re-balance my parameters?
Hmm, didn’t know bringing a guitar to a party was a thing. Guess I’ll have to learn how to play (and buy a guitar, and get invited to a party).

No please don’t bring a guitar to a party! When the guitars come out, the party is over.

Or doesn’t end the party by pulling out a guitar. One or the other.

AI clearly wins with the guitar thing alone.
