I choose to believe a gust of wind wafted them away from the dumpster fire, and they were tucked into the pages of a beautifully illustrated picture book.

A sort of Dumpster fire of the Inanities.
😢. Poignant- yes.
An ignoble end to such a brief magical design that inspires annual awe.
Perhaps it’s eventual end is to fertilize some splendid future flora and greenery.
(Subtext) Stop and enjoy the wonder of the moment.
Not always in control over where we go.
