Very witty! But the question remains: Was the Dane insane? 🙂

For all that pain, there was little gain. For no one was left to reign.

There once was a young Danish prince
Who Walked with a terrible mince
It was said of lad
Alas he is mad
But everyone’s heard of him since
Once I wrote many years ago.

Fantastic! I got this limerick as a forward from a friend, and then made my way to Wrong Hands. Now I’m trapped and can’t leave!
Even got inspired to try one out for ‘Macbeth’…
There once was a murderous Scot,
Who believed in witches one should not.
The king his wife slayed,
But the bloody blots stayed,
And then the Scot’s dreams went to pot.
