   A friend asked what a Homespun Salad was and I realized I couldn’t say. It does feel like something that should be on the menu but … well, could I ask for insight on, like, how to make one? My imagination comes up with just ‘make a salad of whatever you have on hand’, but then I dug around and found one restaurant that (in 2016) apparently had Homespun Salad listed on their menu and that at least had to be something roughly standard.

     Not a chef myself, only a fair to below average cook. I think we should see if there are any chefs are out there who can respond to your query. Any chefs care to chime in?
