Re “Crooked Politician”: It’s comforting to see that while some things change, others are a universal constant.
an unfortunate truth
I liked the reimagination of the pauper as web cartoonist …
not a great leap (at least for me)
Such an intriguing cast of characters! Is the Web Cartoonist an Observer/Narrator injecting his rye sense of humour or a player? When is it available for streaming?! Fascinating.
Haha. Not sure yet how the web cartoonist will be incorporated. Perhaps just as a bit character, panhandling in the background.

HA!
😁
All reboots are gritty & dark.
So taken with rye to become wry.
Pauper – web cartoonist! And the last one is right on.
This is great but I guess some things never change ;; ;; Find a reason to laugh
Unfortunately
So funny! The politicians, that make me laugh!
Applied to Little Suck-A-Thumb (one of the stories in Struwwelpeter), this would be:
Naughty kid = normal guy Warning mother = Facebook friends Thumb-cutting tailor = crooked politician
Nicely done!
