I think he is not stuck but hiding out from Christmas or the Missus in the chimney top (much like that other beloved Christmas action star in the Die Hard series)!

Perhaps a universal message of being overwhelmed by responsibilities (either real or imagined) at this time of year. Some self care may be in order; enjoy stopping by woods on a snowy evening.
