   Sadly, the older I get (80 at my next birthday), the more I think the Luddites were onto something.

   They wisely foresaw how rampant technology and its concomitant signaling would place all focus on bosses’ profits. This meant, of course, an increased blurring of awareness of human need and thus its long term impact on society.

   No, when I was a kid (and dinosaurs ruled the earth) I took “Luddites” to be a pejorative term. Now I take it to mean those who presciently saw the coming of our extant heartless, soulless oligarchy; greedy, power-hungry leeches profiting from the destruction of human lives…and now destroying our society, our government(s), and even our planet.

   (BTW, thanks for what you do. I am a big fan of your brilliantly inciteful work!)
