It’s easy to presume or judge. Maybe that goose had an emergency… like a sick mother etc?

Those guys are in trouble because geese don’t travel alone! I always feel a little melancholy watching the Canada Geese flying away.

This reminds me of the sign I spotted on a low beam at head height: it had the images of two avian creatures, and the wording was “Duck or grouse”. I was so busy puzzling what this was about I forgot to duck …
