I do my best not to be like this – just last week we went and saved a wooden handmade shelf from being thrown away – it fitted perfectly into my sisters bedroom.

😲🤔😏 I guess all shopping carts could be garbage bins. Easier to roll down for pickup on garbage day!!!

On Facebook market place, I guess. My sister found it and I had to organize two men and a small lorry to move it. But most of my interior is second hand too. My husband was very surprised when we met and he saw my mismatched apartment. Nothing changed much. We also use 40 year old towels in the bath and the kitchen. Most of them were lying around at grandma’s home when she died. My sis didn’t want to them, so we took them home and use them. With a bit of luck we never have to buy new ones again.
I am by no meaning living a eco life cause I love cars too much, but there are things I absolutely don’t see a reason to not use them.

That’s quite a commitment (2 men & a lorry)! You see & appreciate all kinds of beautiful things worthwhile of your attention. A small eco deed here & there is better than none. That’s the ideal we strive for.

I am not sure if lorry is the right word (English is not my main language). A small truck, just long enough for a 1,90 m long shelf, but bigger than a pick-up truck
I do love a lot of used things, also clothes.
I also love thrift shoping.
